Science fun

We did a pretty cool science project in our homeschooling. It was done in two parts. The first part, you make naked eggs. You do this by placing two eggs in a container, not touching and cover them in vinegar. You let them sit for at least one day. (I did two). Then you investigate what happens to the eggs. After two days (although it should happen after 1) the egg shell had completely dissolved and all that was left was the egg in the membrane. That night we put one egg in water and one egg in corn syrup. And the next day we had one egg that was all nice and plump and one egg that was all wrinkly and shriveled up. It was fun and interesting.
