Hi TC! Thanks for visiting!

Yes, ordering from a catalog... wouldn't that be cool... sadly I think they do things like that in some countries! And there are mail-order brides too! Gah!

Happy winter weather! It did come up on us quickly this year!

Happy Thursday 13!

Hmmm, a cheap, somewhat quick yummy treat to make are Christmas Tree rollups. It's a mexican type finger food. (NOT spicy at all) Let me know if you're interested in the recipe.

I remember when I was much younger. I thought I'd be able to just get pregnant and have a baby whenever I wanted to. Boy did I have a rude awakening...lol! A catalog would be much easier anyway!

I hope Nososnowwhite brings your favorite cd with her :)

I love your daughter :)

And TV for company.

oooh...the unexpected tantrum...not fun.

and this isn't from today but while commenting I noticed from yesterday's (?) post...that you love to do laundry??? Holy mackerel. Laundry is my nemesis.

My thirteen are up!

Ah, the laundry monster! Could tame a 2 year olds temper tantrum quicker than I can tame the laundry monster... sigh.

my 13 is up...

I would love to be able to order babies from a catalog! We always joke, when the kids are doing something awful, "I don't remember checking the 'scream all night' box when I ordered this one!"

:-)

Thanks for coming to my blog.

I have the perfect cookie for you. Do you want me to leave it in comments or email it to you? They are called melting moments and they are exactly that--they melt in your mouth and they are so good.

My 13 are up.

Trying to Catch Up: Thursday Thirteen: What I like about Christmas

Thanks for stopping by my Thursday 13 today; your number #4 reminds me of a movie I once saw called Motel Hell LOL!

you could melt chocolate and dip pretzels in them. i buy those chocolate melts at the bulk store, they come in different flavours and colours, and pretzels are fairly inexpensive. mind you , i don't remember how much those chocolate melts are. anyway, that's all i got, christmas baking is so expensive!
i'm playing this week too.

I love list talking. I think it's my natural language! Thanks for your kind words.

I do love your Thursday 13! Perhaps soon I will have enough time and enough to talk about to do this myself.

Sorry about that unusual tantrum. I hate those!

I like the idea of shopping for pregnancies. I got pretty lucky... we were trying and actually got pregnant early, but it worked out! She was born in June, just before the blistering desert summer heat. It was like we did our shopping and got a sale!

So glad your having fun!!!!!

Hi. Thanks for visiting my blog. I love the spicy sausages, cheeses, and crackers this time of the year.

Hey Twisted Sista! Just stopped by to say hi. I like your 13 things.

Don't feel bad about the tantrum. When I was a houseparent I had a 16 year old boy (who was extremely large for his age) that would throw temper tantrums and crawl after his mom IN THE MALL...that is one reason he was sent to us. Fun, huh? One night he spent three hours screaming my name..."MIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMIMI" I think that is my most favorite memory of Boystown.

I agree - it's amazing how fast the seasons change! (I live in NY) We're currently getting a bunch of snow, although not as much as NYC area.

My second oldest daughter seemed to always have a meltdown at picture time. I remember a day at Walmart where we ended up with only two shots of her, and in the one you can tell she had been crying. Little stinkers! :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday! It's taken me eons to catch up here.

I can tell you are a mother of one....hahaha 12 kids!

hey, thanks for stopping by! the weather here in Virginia can change really quick, too. this fall, for instance, we were having unseasonably warm temps (in the 70s!) for about two weeks and then, suddenly, the next day it was 40. so weird. and now, today, we are dealing with snow and ice. mostly ice.

Quick, yummy and cheap-sausage balls. A pound of sausage, a pound of sharp cheddar (grated) and 3 cups of Bisquick. Mix them together, shape them into balls and bake at 400 until they are lightly browned (somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes, usually, depending on size).

I've never made these that they didn't disappear like snow melting. If you halve the recipe it makes for shorter and easier mixing time.

I like doing laundry too...just don't like putting it away!

That seems to be a universal complaint.

Thanks for the visit to my blog. Nice to meet ya!
