Not Me Monday

1. I DID NOT type out an entire post and lose it and curse up a blue storm when I lost it. Not me!!
   


2. I DID NOT get up and eat an entire plate of leftover hot wings for breakfast and feed Princess Belle instant oatmeal instead of making something for breakfast everyone. Not me!!
   


3. I DID NOT put maple syrup on Princess Belle's instant oatmeal just to ensure that she would eat it before going to school. Not me!!
   


4. I DID NOT step over the crap in Princess Belle's room, to turn off her tv, step back over the junk to get out and pretend not to see the disaster that I should be cleaning. Not me!!


5. I DID NOT take the peanut butter and eat an entire tablespoon of it straight off the spoon to satisfy a craving. Not me!!

Grateful

I am feeling so grateful these days.

I look at my beautiful Princess Belle and how loving and sweet she is. I love how dedicated she is to her baby sister, I love how much she loves her puppy. I love her sense of responsibility when it comes to helping out with them. I love how loving, sweet, and tender she is.

When I look at my baby girl, Princess Mag-pie, I am supremely grateful that I get to love her. She is so squishy, cuddly, happy, and sweet. She is such a joy to have in our household. She is truly the kind of baby that makes other want to have babies. There are times when I pick her up, I hold her cheek to mine, hug her close, close my eyes and try to soak up the moment, the feeling of her little body in my arms, the scent of her hair, the weight of her head against mine. I want to imprint this on my mind, because I know just how fleeting this is and I want to remember this forever.

When I look at my husband, Prince charming. I see someone who is always supportive in whatever I do. He knows me inside and out. He makes me laugh all the time, he brings joy to my life. He is always there to slay my dragons, to fight my battles along side me. When we first met, I needed him, I leaned on him to fight for me, but as we grow together, he has taught me to slay dragons myself. Instead of standing back and letting him take care of things, we stand side by side as a team and jointly take on the world together.

I am in a place where I am in love with my family. I want to add to it, I want to have one more baby, but if something should happen and that should never happen, I will be forever grateful for the family I was blessed with.

1. Which meal is the one you cook best? I am not sure. I enjoy cooking all sorts of things. Prince Charming says his favorite recipes are the times that we are low on groceries and I have to be creative and come up with something interesting with what we have.

2. Tell us what you would never eat. I will eat anything at least once.

3. Is your hometown famous for anything or anybody? I have moved more than 40 times, it is hard to pin down a hometown. I once lived somewhere that Jason McKoy grew up and I lived where Brian Orser was from.

4. Can you play a musical instrument? No. I LOVE piano and can play a few notes, I used to play the recorder but I can't anymore.

5. Tell us about your second ever lover. Prince Charming is my one and only.

6. What is your favorite restaurant? I love those little places that no one has discovered yet. Some of my favorite places over the years are places that I just dropped into and fell in love with.

7. If it were your call, how often would you make love? Depends on what is going on in my life. I guess 2 - 3 times a week.

8. What famous person would you like to have dinner with? Reba McEntire. I just love her and I think she is a totally sweet person.

9. Tell us about your job. I am a stay at home mom. I LOVE this. This is truly what I was meant to do. It is the one job I feel that I do best. Plus you can't beat the benefits when you think of all the loves and hugs and kisses and smiles and joys you get as payment.
