Fun

We had fun in school today.  We studied more about Mexico and made Papal Picados.

Papal Picados are a traditional Mexican Folk art that is made out of colorful tissue paper that have intricate designs cut into them.

Later on the girls helped me make supper.  They were so excited to help.  It was super cute.

Getting Crafty

With Cinco de Mayo coming up, I decided to include some Mexican inspired crafty fun in our homeschool.  We are going to do five days of crafts to use to decorate our Cinco de Mayo celebration.

He Told Us!!

Little Prince was dirty and looked at us and said, "Tub?"  "BZ?" (Which is his attempt to spell bath.)  I decided to celebrate his communication by giving him one.  While he was in the bath, we poured water over his head to wash his hair.  Normally, he hates this.  But today, he kept exclaiming, "Head!"  Requesting that we pour more water over his head.  When we took too long he called out, "Head! Water!"  And I figured if boy was going to ask that clearly, he was getting water over his head!  He may not have a lot of words, but he can definitely make his needs and wants known.
