A first

 My little boy has his first loose tooth.  He doesn't understand what is going on.  He keeps asking me to fix his tooth.  He even took my finger and put it on his tooth so that I knew which tooth it is.  My poor boy is confused and disturbed.

Mornings

I will be happy when our morning wait for the bus is a little less chilly.  Boy, hadn't been cold the last few mornings! 

Stormy Days

We had a snow/wind storm.  I didn't even mind.  The weather has been so warm lately, it feels like spring is on the way.  Actually, in Newfoundland, there is usually a storm after St. Patrick's Day called, "Sheila's Brush".  And, it is considered the did of winter.

Loving It

We are loving it here.  We already have a couple of friends and a couple of acquaintances here.  We are known at local stores.  As the weather warms and COVID-19 restrictions ease, we will be able to be even more of a part of this beautiful community.

9th Birthday

 My boy is 9 today.  He is thoroughly enjoying his day.  He is sweet, funny, and awesome.

Cute!

 My boy was do funny today while waiting for the bus.  He noticed a crow on the light pole, pointed, called out, "birdie!" And then began to yell, "Caw! Caw!" out to the crow.  He was delighted when the crow answered back.  It was so cute!

St. Patrick's Day Fun

Here in NL they have their St. Patrick's Day holiday on the Monday closest to the holiday.  So we had our fun today.

Explanation

I don't know if I have mentioned it, but I have had IBS for years and since Tuesday I have been suffering from gastritis.  I have been pretty miserable and not able to eat much, but the medication the doctor prescribed has started working.  I am able to get some real food into me now.

Snow Sculpture Fun

Princess Snifflefritz had fun in school yesterday. They made Maple Taffy and snow sculptures.

Quitting

I am on day 2 of quitting caffeine.  It has been tough, but not as tough as I expected.  

I did take ibuprofen on an empty stomach and have been having bad tummy pains since, but overall the headache from quitting coffee is manageable. 

Big Bread

Well last night I was exhausted and I started making bread and then totally forgot it and went to bed.  I woke this morning and it was huge.  My kids actually loved it.  Too funny.  Little Prince even asked for more for a snack by saying, "Big bread".

 

Waiting

 I am so looking forward to this summer   I want yo enjoy our new small town.  I want to explore the area.  I want yo enjoy life with my bsbies in the warm weather.  I am done with winter .     bring on spring and summer.

Weekend

 Hope you guys are having a great weekend!  We are having a quiet family day.  I look forward to the summer when we can explore this area more.  Winter sucks.  In the meantime, we are just enjoying each other. 

Happy Friday

 So glad it is Friday! I got a lot of housework done this week while the kids were at school.  But, a nice quiet weekend with my babies will be nice.  

Time

 This week has been full of getting back on schedule.   My babies are back in school  and I am getting the house in order.   I miss my kids, but it is nice to have the time to clean. 

Happy March 1st!

Happy March, friends! I am looking forward to a great month. My 49th birthday, my boy's 9th birthday, the first day of spring and St. Patrick's Day all happen this month.  My babies are all back in school starting Wednesday.  I am happy for them. For me, I am hoping to continue on my weightloss and tummy healing journey. I feel like I am on the road to being the healthiest me that I can be. Hope you all have a great month too!
