Oatmeal Pancakes


  • 1 1/2 cups white flour
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup veg. oil
  • 3 eggs
  1. Combine ingredients really well and whisk until smooth.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium high heat.
  3. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  4. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
