Uh Oh!!!

Do you see those two angelic little cuties at the top of this post?  Well they got up to some mischief that is going to take a while to fix!  Princess Magpie (the 5 year old) got into the homeschool craft supplies and decided she wanted to be a hair dresser and little Princess Snifflefritz (the 4 year old) was quite willing to be her first victim client.  As I walked toward their bedroom I heard the ominous sound of scissors snipping away and then I heard the whispered, "Quick!  Go show mommy!"  And I stepped over a HUGE mound of hair in the hallway, I knew I was in for a bad surprise.  And as I opened their bedroom door, I was greeted by this smiling little face.

Pictures can not capture the hacking that happened to the hair on her little head.  There were places it was cut almost to the scalp!  After doing my best to repair the damage, this poor little beauty has almost no hair left!!!

Even almost bald, she is still adorable.  This little smile makes up for a lot!

Sunday Seven

  1. Little Prince is still working on his first tooth and it is making him more than a little crooked.  Having his bed in the living room is hard because it means that he gets disturbed in his sleep a lot. (My smilley little man has been grouchy lately and I am taking a few baby free moments to post)
  2. Princess Magpie is STILL not potty trained.  I am trying not stress over it but she is FOUR years old and showing no signs of wanting to be done with this process anytime soon.  Two year old Princess Snifflefritz will definitely be trained before she is at this rate.
  3. I find it funny that at this point in my cloth diapering, homeschooling, mommy-of-four life, if I want to do such a liittle thing as shower, I have to make a point to schedule it to make sure I can get time to get it done.  (with regards to homeschooling, I LOVE how much the girls like homeschool this year.  We even did some yesterday because Princess Belle wanted to.)
  4. I would really like it if our guest would get his own place sometime soon.  It looks like he will be with us until at least October but he has been sleeping on our couch since April and not to be inhospitable I am missing my couch and I find it hard sometimes to feed an extra mouth.  (Not to mention how much extra coffee we go through)
  5. (oops have to go little Mr. Crankypants is crying yet again) Okay I am back, now where was I . . . mmm . . . I have no idea so I will start a new thought.  At this moment, Princess Snifflefritz is begging me to go to bed.  I do believe I am the only mom who is lucky enough to have kids who ask to go to bed.  They get up, play and have fun and eat and then at some point decide they are done and ask to go to bed.
  6. I also think it is funny how the two little girls ALWAYS take off their clothes at night (unless I rig it so they can't).  It never fails that they come out with only a diaper on.  Then at some point Princess Snifflefritz will look down and suddenly realize she has no shirt and insist on having a shirt on.  Like some thief came in their room in the middle of the night and stole their clothes when they were sleeping.
  7. Since we moved into this place, I have been drying my clothes on the clothesline because the either the dryer doesn't work or the plug for the dryer is broke, we haven't figured out which yet.  So today when I was getting clothes in off the line before the rainfall warning we have comes to fruition, I saw a GIANT spider on the clothes.  You should have seen me, frantically waving a bag of plastic bottle for recycling at the clothes trying to knock the spider down.  I am sure it look pretty silly but this momma was FREAKED OUT

Mommy Frustration

Okay to say that I am frustrated at the moment is a bit of an understatement. I was down in the classroom putting together some furniture that is going to be in there. When I came back upstairs, my almost nine-year-old daughter had had a field day.
  1. She had taken the pancake syrup and poured it into almost all of a $7 container of orange juice.
  2. She had taken my flax seed meal and poured it over the counter.
  3. She had taken the chairs out of the dining room and into the living room using them to create as much havoc as possible.
  4. She had taken every food she could find and eaten parts of it with her sister abandoning the rest wherever they were.
  5. She had mess and chaos in every inch of the house.
I was only a room away. I could hear her. She could ask me for things. She knows this. She was just being sneaky and getting to as much as she could before I came upstairs again. UGH. She had me and her sisters up at 5 am this morning and I am way to tired to deal with this today.

Conversations with Princess Belle

Me: "What are you doing?" (hearing weird sounds coming from the bathroom) "Open the door and let me see!" (knowing that a closed door and Princess Belle making weird sounds is almost never a good thing)

Princess Belle: "Mom, is it a good thing if the light bulbs are smoking?"

Me: "What DID you do?!?"

Princess Belle: "I washed the light bulbs" (pointing to the bulbs where two of the four were now gone out)

Me: "WHAT? You NEVER wash light bulbs!"

Princess Belle: "Well they were dirty."

Me: "I don't care. You don't wash them! That is dangerous."

Princess Belle: "Fine, but they were dirty."

I swear this child will be the death of me . . . or herself . . . or us both! How could I ever know that she would stand on the bathroom cabinet and WASH THE LIGHT BULBS!

Princess Belle

It has been a crazy day today. I got up and hit the floor running. I got my big girl off on the bus to school and then got my little one ready and headed to get some errands done. After I was done, I came home, put away groceries and then left again to have a meeting with Princess Belle's Teacher and Principal.

That meeting was eventful. I had some concerns myself that I have mentioned that I feel she has ADHD. Well, the teacher and Principal have concerns as well. There is a big concern with her impulse control. She is a good girl, friendly, outgoing and smart, but she has no ability at all to control her impulses. As soon as she thinks of doing something, she is doing it and you can't stop her. They are concerned that she may be a danger to herself in that she has attempted to leave school grounds (when asked she said that she just wanted to keep playing outside). She is constantly moving, running, going. She doesn't walk down the stairs, she hops. She isn't sitting in her chair, she is jumping, banging her feet, wiggling, tapping, moving. She can't sit and do her work for any length of time.

One of the things they are trying to get approval for is to get this person who is already in her class assisting someone, assisting her too. It would be more to corral her than anything else but it would be a start. They are going to be running a bunch of tests, on top of us continueing to get her ADHD test done.

The Principal says that she used to teach Special Education and she has never seen a child with as strong a case of impulse control as my daughter.

I want to have my girl taken care of. I want to know what is wrong and to get her treated. I don't want her to have troubles in school. I don't want her to have troubles getting along with other kids.

I know there is something that she needs taken care of, but at the same time, I want everyone to see her as perfect and wonderful as I do. She is handful, but she is a sweet, wonderful, loving, precious handful. I love her more than life itself and I don't want life to be difficult for her. I want her to glide through with ease. I don't want her to struggle. I can't stop this for her. I can't protect her. All I can do is try to get her diagnosed and treated and hope that does what I can't.

Sleepy Sunday

Today is a sleepy day for me. Princess Mag-pie wasn't too bad last night but Princess Belle had a ROUGH night. She peed her bed not once but TWICE!!!! Who does that at SIX YEARS OLD???? She woke up with pains in her legs. She just kept waking up crying for attention. I am a zombie mommy today and she is just fine. My head is just pounding.

But given the fact that I started my diet yesterday, I don't feel bad. I feel really full all the time and I am so glad to be getting this weight back under control. I know I will get back down to my best weight again. I can do this.

Princess Mag-pie appears to have a snuffly nose. I have had a miserable cold for a few days and she spends a lot of time in my arms, so I am not surprised that she has some symptoms. I hope that she doesn't get it like I did.

Saturday's Stuff

Well, we went out and got groceries today. Not very exciting, I know but we needed them and I wanted to see what effect that would have on my blood pressure if I made sure to take my medication before I left. It was a small grocery day and so we weren't out very long but when I checked my blood pressure it was up a lot again. I have another doctor's appointment on Monday so that she can check my blood pressure again. What a pain in the butt this whole blood pressure thing is. Princess Mag-pie slept the entire trip. She was very sweet. Princess Belle on the other hand was picky and cranky and a pain the butt. We have decided that for our next grocery trip, we are going shopping when Princess Belle is at Daycamp.

Bullies

Princess

There are some older boys on our street that like to torment the littler kids. They just bring out the momma bear in me. Today a neighbour called me and let me know they were tormenting Princess. Prince Charming went out and saved the day. He went out and got Princess and brought her inside and then talked to the boys. They denied it, but then had to swallow their words when he named witnesses. Hopefully they will leave her alone now. Poor little thing doesn't understand that some people just like to be mean and that even if she "goes up and tells them she is a nice girl" they will probably still be mean. Ugh sometimes I want to wrap her up and protect her from the world. But I guess it is important for her to learn to deal with kids and to learn to be safe. We told her to try to stay away from the bigger kids and play with kids her own age and hopefully that will help.

Saturday Photohunt — Skinny

Theme: Skinny Become a Photo Hunter

The theme this week is Skinny.

When I saw this weeks theme, I cringed. People have always called my Princess skinny and mostly I wish they wouldn't say it in front of her. I don't want her to be self-conscious of her body size in any way, I don't want her to think about being skinny or being fat. She has always been on the slender side, but she has filled out lately. She is still tall and slender but she looks more average. Here is a pic from quite a few years ago, back when my now almost six year old girl was still young enough to be in diapers insisting on wearing a dress that is waaay too small. So here she is in some of her more skinny years. She certainly was cheerful girl though!

Victorious in the Ever After

I have been fighting a battle that I haven't mentioned here before. Princess has been giving us a hard time with wetting her bed. And she didn't even have to be sleeping to do it. I would ask her why she would pee her bed awake when she never does that during the day and she would just say, "I didn't want to get out of bed mommy" How in the world do you make you child WANT TO stay dry all night. After many many night-time battles, I decided to break out the good old calendar reward idea. I have never done that with Princess and I thought she would like it. So I printed out her "Dry Bum Calendar" and I showed it to her. I explained that for ever night that she was dry, she got a sticker and one little chocolate. After 7 in a row, she would get a bigger treat. Well yesterday, we went out for our first big treat! She got a little pet shop toy thing and some chicken nuggets at McDonalds. She was so proud and you know what? . . . so am I.

Scary Stuff!

My child will be the death of me yet, I swear! Let me tell a little story about the events at my house this morning.

It started off pretty quiet, I went off to work at 6:00. Notsosnowwhite left for home at 7:00. Princess woke up around 8:00 and she was sad that Notsosnowwhite went home and told her daddy that she had a bad belly and he kept her home. Now, daddy went back to bed to lie down around 9:00 and she settled down in the living room to cuddle on the couch and watch Treehouse.

Fast forward to about 10:00 am. Daddy hears a knock on the door. He trots down the stairs and there is our neighbour at the door. And she is holding on to something very important to us . . . . . MY DAUGHTER in her nightdress and bare feet!!!!! Apparently, she decided to go for a walk and my neighbour found her wandering around a couple of doors down the street in her nightdress. My neighbour knew that we don't let her outside by herself and brought her home. On one hand, I am so glad that my neighbours know us, know our daughter, and brought her home. We are sooo lucky to know the people around us! Soo Scary!!

She had a busy morning. When Daddy brought her back inside, he discovered a plate with a few freezie wrappers on it. How many freezies did she help herself to you ask? (or maybe you didn't but I am going to tell you anyway!) Not one freezie wrapper, not two freezie wrappers, not three freezie wrappers, but ELEVEN FREEZIE wrappers!!! My girl got up ate 11 freezies, mixed oatmeal with water and spilled it all over the coffee table and then went for a walk outside!!!! OMG, that girl needs to come equipped with a seatbelt!

Hold me back!

Okay, I have been working my butt off to get everything ready for work tomorrow. I had a bag ready for two days with all the things in it that I will take with me. And this morning I get up and what as Princess done? Got into my bag, emptied my makeup into my bag, all over my table cloth and all over the walls. So now I am left with no make up to wear to work on my first day!!!! And I have a table cloth filled with makeup and no washing machine to wash it for at least 2 or 3 weeks and my best friend is coming and I had put that table cloth out special. I just want to sit on the floor and cry. I am so upset. I have so much to do today and I didnt need her to add to my list. See she has me so upset I am just rambling. I am going to go waste some time by sitting on the floor and crying into my coffee now.

Another missed meme

My friend Elle from A day in the life of Elle tagged me to play this Tag Team Meme. So here it goes:

IT'S TAG TEAM TIME

Here are the rules:

1. Link to name of person that tagged you.

2. Include state and country you live in.

3. List top 5 favorite local restaurants.

4. Tag 5 other people and let them know they’ve been tagged.

As I mentioned, Elle from A day in the life of Elle tagged me. I live in Newfoundland, Canada.

Top 5 favorite restaurants:

  1. RED PEPPER RESTAURANT
  2. EMERALD PALACE
  3. RUSTLER'S
  4. SMITTY'S
  5. Buddy's Best Fish & Chips

As for tagging people, I have been doing a lot of these and you guys are going to get sick of getting tagged by me. But if this seems like fun to you, you do it and then let me know!

As for other things, in my life, Princess is doing well. She complained to high heaven that she wanted to stay home and watch television rather than go to daycare today, but I know when she comes home, she will be brimming over with stories of snacks and kids and fun.

It is a dull rainy day today and that blows all my thoughts of laundry out the window, since I don't have a dryer.

AF still hasn't turned up yet. I am beginning to wonder if maybe I may have gotten pg again. If she doesn't turn up by the end of the week, I am going in to see the doctor.

Floor Tackle

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

It's Tackle It Tuesday, again and I have decided to tackle my floors. I don't have a before pic, but I will explain that I have these awful tiles that always look dirty and are pretty worn out and stained by the door. I am considering doing something about them, even if I do only rent. But in the meantime, I took the time to really scrub them as best I could. I scrubbed hard. And by the door, which is the worst area, I scrubbed the floors and beat the mat and the put it outside to air. The whole thing looks at least tolerable now which is an improvement.

I had planned on getting to the room that was to be the baby's room. I would like to clean out the closet and put the things we had bought for the baby away. But I don't think I am quite ready to tackle that yet. Maybe next week.

Here are some pics of what it looks like now. It looks like it is about to rain so it is kind of dull and dark today so the lighting is a little off. But you can get the idea anyway.

I have been feeling a little down lately. I am working really hard to pull myself up by my bootstraps but I find that when I sit down quietly for a few minutes everything that has happened hits me again. It doesn't help that even now Princess asks me about the baby. Yesterday she sat down and all kinds of things spill out: that she really wanted to be a big sister, why did the baby have to die, and couldn't we get a new baby in my belly now. I love that she feels free to tell me what is on her mind and I am proud of her for the way she handles things at only 5 but it is still hard. I would give anything I have to wake up tomorrow and find out I was pregnant again.

On a funny note: Princess came home yesterday and started to cry because someone said she had big ears. I talked to her and it turns out that what actually happened is that the teachers were discussing her and one said to the other that they had better be quiet because she has big ears. LOL I explained to her that it only meant that she was listening, not that her ears were actually big. (Thanks to daddy, she sort of does have big ears, and she may be oversensitive to the subject, but I think they are adorable and hate that someone has made her aware of them at all!)

Persistence

This week's theme is "persistence." Take time to visit and comment on others. It will be fun to see how everyone interprets this word and all the quotes that are possible.

Journalling reads:
Heard during this photo shoot:
"here sit next to the bear"
"No, sit next to the bear"
"No don't hug the bear, sit next to him"
"Don't suck your thumb, I want a picture
of your smile"
"Don't suck your thumb."
"Put down the bib”
“don't suck your thumb."
"that's pretty hugging the bear,
but i want a pic of you sitting next to
the bear"
"give me your bib"
"sit next to the bear"
"No, don't hug"
"sit up"
"Oh fine . . . that'll do"
In the end, this is what I got,
NOT ONE SINGLE PIC . . .
of her sitting nicely next to the bear.

Sunday Stuff

Little Princess

I have been having issues with Little Princess peeing the bed. She does it a lot. I am not sure how much of this is normal. She stays dry and never pees her pants outside her room. But once you put in her room and close the door she seems to feel no need to get up and go pee. Maybe she is sleeping, I have no idea. But I am at a loss as to how to proceed and I am starting to wash the colors out of her sheets.

THREE MONTHS!!

I have been vegetarian for three months now! woohoo! I have had a couple of rough days where I would look at the food I was cooking for Little Princess and Prince Charming and really really really want it. And there have been some concerns about the cost of me eating a completely different meal than the rest of the omnivores in our house. But for the most part, I am enjoying the good health and the challenge of finding healthy yummy food to eat.

Sunday Silly

I read this on a parenting board I read and I had to share it here. It just completely cracked me up.

This is a column in Esquire every month, in case you didn't know. They have some celebrity woman give her list. They're usually pretty humorous, and MSN has some up today. This one is from Courtney Cox:

1. Pull your pants up. You're not 15, you're not a rapper, and we need to see the shape of your ass.

2. Pull your pants down. You're not 85, you're not an accountant, and we don't need to see the shape of your balls.

3. Breasts are not a speed bump to the promised land.

4. Yes, we want you to be more verbal. No, burping doesn't count.

5. Kissing is something that you need to stay engaged in, even if all the blood is rushing out of your head and into other parts of your body.

6. Speaking of which, though it might make for a cool carnival sideshow, our entire face will not fit inside your mouth, and thus this makes for lousy kissing.

7. If we're crying and you're holding us and get a hard-on, we automatically deduct points.

8. And getting a boner while we're sleeping next to you is not an excuse to wake us up. This is not what they mean by serendipity.

9. We pay closer attention to your hands than you think. It's bad enough if you don't have manly hands, but if your nails are
longer than ours, forget it.

10. You don't get a vote in the preferred shape of our pubic hair. Until you've had hot wax poured all over your crotch, you're merely a passenger on that flight.

Photography

I love photography. I sometimes wish I could take a course and learn more about it. I love taking pics, photo editing, playing with lighting and subject matter, taking portraits and landscape shots. It all makes me happy. years ago, I used to take my camera everywhere so I could capture things that caught my eye. I have stopped doing that lately and if I do, I am only taking pics of Little Princess, but I am thinking that maybe I should just start taking my camera with me, just in case.

Monday mumblings

Monday Morning
I swear Little Princess can smell Mondays coming. All this long weekend, she went to be early, slept through the night and got up at the crack of dawn. But last night? She went to bed late, woke up at 3:30 to play for 2 1/2 hours and then wanted to sleep in and didn't want to get up for preschool. I was ready to trade her in for a new model right about 5:30 this morning! But then we got some cuddling in and an exhausted mommy sent her off to preschool, happily telling the busdriver about the easter bunny tracks in her house yesterday morning.

Little Princess and Notsosnowwhite
Little Princess is loving having my best friend here. Every day when she goes to bed, she asks if she will still be here when she gets up. And when she went to preschool today, she asked me to make sure she would still be here when she got home. It is going to be a bad day when she leaves to go home.

Scrapbooking
I made this scrapbook page about her first haircut. I kind of like how it turned out.

Monday mumblings

Well it certainly feels like a Monday morning this morning. Little Princess got up at about 2:30 in the morning and refused to go back to bed. She sat in her room and played and made a racket but didn't go back to bed. At about 4:30 or 5 in the morning I finally got it out of her that she had wet her bed and didn't want to get back into it. The goofy kid didn't TELL me! I changed her bed and she went right to sleep. I phoned the day care and told them that she would definitely not be in today. I figure I was doing them a favor because with the amount of sleep that she had she would more resemble a dragon than a princess! And now I am feeling like I have a hangover headache and I don't even have the fun memories to make it all worth it!

Weight Loss

I am doing okay food wise. I am eating healthy, everything is whole, low-fat foods. I have been eating almost no pasta and rice. But loads of veggies and tofu and fruit and soy milk and all kinds of healthy stuff. Who knows what the scales will say, but in the meantime, I am doing my part.

Exercise

Being as tired as I am today, I do NOT see a lot of exercise happening. Unless you count trips to the kitchen for coffee and ibuprofen, I just don't see me making that effort. I am a bad girl and will do better tomorrow.

Vegetarian

I made the best vegetarian chili last night. Chili is one of those foods that you can make vegetarian and not miss the meat at all. It was just so yummy and fillling and satisfying. I didn't get a picture but you will just have to believe me that it was nice and colorful and aromatic as well.

Rosie
I have to say, I have been a Rosie fan since her show but lately I find myself losing respect for her and her opinions more and more. In her role on The View, she seems to more and more be saying these outrageous comments (Rosie and Kelly and Rosie and American Idol) that I don't agree with and she voices her opinions in ways that I sometimes find insulting to those that she is referring to. I have always had respect for the show The View as well, it was a good forum for honest opinions to be aired and for a number of different types of women to come together and give us the value of a variety of opinions. But is seems as though Rosie is overshadowing this. As I said, it makes me sad. I have always loved Rosie, I was saddened when her show ended and I loved to read about her triumphs and her marriage in the paper. But lately all that is being overshadowed by the fact that her role on The View is making me like her less and less as a person and isn't that the saddest thing of all?

Feeding Time

Little Princess

Little Princess came up to me while I was chopping spinach for a nice spinach salad and asked me a question which froze me in my tracks, "What is that green stuff mommy?" Oh NO! Pop Quiz! I wasn't prepared for this! I didn't study the answers. There is a definite right and wrong answer here and suprisingly the answer is NOT spinach. I quickly scan through possible answers in my head, "vegetables?" nope that's not it. "Spinach?" definitely not! Hmmmm . . . . "Lettuce?" BING BING BING! Give the woman a prize that is the winning answer! Testing my theory, I casually say, "Lettuce" as I continue chopping. I watch a little hand go over to the bag and pull a bit of spinach out and tentatively taste it. Smiling, she munches happily while I silently celebrate that I have successfully gotten spinach her lips.

I have a little confession. Lean over closely and I will whisper it to you . . . . I sometimes lie to my daughter . . . . there I've said it! I feel better. There are all kinds of foods which are only acceptable if you give them the right name. Vegetable soup is only good if you call it letter soup because according to little princess, every child knows that vegetables are yucky, right? (trust me it took me a while to figure this one out). Kraft Dinner is okay but only if you call it macaroni and cheese and add extra cheese and nothing else to it. Rice is okay but only if cooked with so much chicken bouillon that it turns yellow. Anything with enough salt to send your blood pressure soaring is fine. (Keep the salt shake out of her reach if you don't want to see half the bottle disappear). And in this battle of the belly, I play the game. I worry about her food intake and I say whatever I have to say to make the food make the journey from her plate to her mouth.

I think there was a mixup at the factory, I wasn't supposed to get the skinny kid. I wasn't supposed to get the kid who doesn't eat. I was a fat kid, I understand fat kids, I know how to deal with fat kids. A skinny kid is like an alien to me. I know how to limit food intake and to make the child make healthier snack choices. And since people frown on you sitting on your child and shoving food into her, I don't know to make a kid eat. They say that a child will eat what they need, but they never met my underweight, stubborn kid who would rather be hungry than forced to eat something that is on the ever-changing unacceptable list. Ever "What is that mommy" is a pass or fail exam and I didn't study!

Does someone have the manual on this kid? I think they forgot to turn on the hungry button.

Winter

By the way, who ever decided to send us this weather, Very Funny! That's enough gosh darned snow! Now give me my sun back!

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things about Twisted Cinderella
  1. I have decided that for the next little while in an effort to get my weight figured out. I am going to be counting the points for the food I eat.
  2. I am still eating vegetarian and I have discovered a few things I eat have more points than I thought. So this may help.
  3. Little Princess did not want to go to preschool today. I hope that this is just a stage I am not facing a future of 13 years of sending her off to school unhappy.
  4. I don't understand her issue. She is happy when she comes home ever day. I can only think that it must be separation as she has been this way ever since I started work and I can only hope it will improve now that I am home
  5. I have become a real homebody since leaving work. I went out to the store yesterday and realized that I couldn't remember the last time I left the house.
  6. I am going out today too. So that is something. I am not unhappy with it. I tend to want to hibernate in the winter. Being home allows me to dig in and take care of my house and my family and hibernate until the sun comes back.
  7. This feels like the longest winter ever. There is just so much snow and yucky stuff out there.
  8. I watched that movie, "The Break-up" yesterday. I wasn't that impressed. I didn't like the ending of the movie at all. But I do love Jennifer Anniston. I have her movie, "Picture Perfect" that I really enjoy.
  9. I love that when Prince Charming warned me that his next paycheque was going to be smaller, I could look at him and say, "That's okay, our bills are paid and we have lots of groceries. We will be fine."
  10. I have spent so many years bordering on completely broke and having just enough food to get from paycheque to paycheque, that having food in the house makes me feel safe and secure and happy.
  11. Being home is also allowing me to concentrate more on getting Little Princess to eat. I am thrilled that for the last two nights, she has eaten the same supper as her father!
  12. I watch this show, "Just One Bite" which has great ideas and tips for picky kids that I take away and try with Little Princess.
  • I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day with the person they love. Little Princess and I made two giant heart shaped cookies with I love you written in chocolate chips on them. One was hers and one was for Prince Charming. It was cute and fun.

The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted!
