Feild Trip

We had a great time on a field trip for homeschoolers today. We had a chance to tour a historical estate, and I loved watching the tour guide talk to the kids and I loved their enjoyment of the whole thing. We got an explanation of the clothing of the day, the toys of the day, the way that they lived and a tour of the estate and grounds. It was so much fun!

Very cool! It reminds me of when Joe and I visited the home of President Andrew Jackson.

On the west coast, they don't have too many old estates like that... But we have taken the kids to see Fort Clatsop, which is where Lewis and Clark sent the winter. So fun! :)
