Something New

I started working with Little Prince today.  This was new and I was a little nervous about how he would respond given how his sleep has been. 

As the Therapist suggested, I put away his other things and took out one of the items I bought for educational purposes. I needed to set an expectation and not move on until we had accomplished it.  He actually understood pretty quickly and did as I asked him too. 

His only complaint was when it was time to move on to another activity but I was able to redirect him pretty quickly.  Honestly, this gives me confidence that we will be able to find a way to work together to homeschool him. 

I am going to keep this up every day and tell her about it at our next appointment.
