first Solid Food

My baby girl had her first solid food yesterday at 5 1/2 months old. It was two weeks early but she really seems to need it. She did amazing! She loved it and once she figured out how to get her tongue out of the way, she gobbled it down. I am so proud of her. She is growing much too fast! While I was feeding her in from school walked big sister, Princess Belle. She wanted to help feed Princess Magpie so, of course, I had to get pics.

What a wonderful milestone - first solids. She looks so cute in her highchair. And, big sis looks like a good help and a great sister.

Have a great day.

Cute! ... I always started my kids on cereal at 4 months. The doctor reccommended it for Josh, because he needed to put on some weight... Alicia is the one who needed it. She was on more than one solid meal a day before 6 months, because she was ALWAYS hungry and formula never lasted long... And you know what, she is STILL always hungry. *lol* (By the time she was 8 months old she would eat 2 eggo waffles and a 4 ounce cup of diced fruit at one sitting, and look around for more. *lol*)
