Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Thoughts Twisted Cinderella has about her new pg. I had my first doctors appointment today. I was nervous. It felt like keeping my baby to myself I was keeping my baby safe. I know that's not true though. The doctor did all the right things to check on my baby. She scheduled an Ultrasound for when I am 7 weeks. I am looking forward to seeing my baby. She scheduled two sets of bloodwork to check out how my beta hcg levels are rising. She gave me a prescription for baby asprin to improve bloodflow to my uterus. She gave me a prescription for extra folic acid because of my age. (I am 35) She scheduled another appointment for January 3. I joined a mother/baby pregnancy group where pregnant women meet and discuss healthy pregnancies. I have come up with a nice girls name for my baby. I am still working on a boys name. I hate that people seem to temper their congratulations. Nobody seems genuinely excited. It feels like everyone says congratulations but lets hold back out excitement. It feels like they are saying congrats, but worrying instead of being excited. I haven't had hardly anyone who just simply congratulated me with wholehearted enthusiasm and left it at that. I want to be just as excited about my little Baby Bug. I don't want to spend my time wondering what if something bad happens. I feel pretty good. I am hopeful that this little baby was meant to be. I am loving my baby with all I have. That is all I have. I want everyone to be happy for em.
