Blast from the past

My Aunt just sent me this picture. What a blast from the past. I looked into the shining faces of all these kids and knew that now they were grown up and most of them married with children. I can think of the stories that goes along with each little face. who is happy and who is having troubles. In the back you see three older people standing there. I am the skinny one in the pink pants with the large glasses and the hair down my back .

I looked at this pic and thought, is THAT me? No, it can't be me. I was NEVER that skinny. I remember, I was obsessed with my weight and trying to lose weight because I was just so fat. That girl, right there with the pink pants. too funny. I would kill to have that body now.

Hindsight really is 20/20. I, too look back on pictures and wonder what in the world I was thinking. I was so fat in my own eyes then. I can't imagine what that old me would think of this new me, and the funny thing is I'm fairly comfortable in my own skin now. Even despite the fact it's much bigger than it ever used to be.

You are well on your way! Just remember the girl then - didn't have a little princess. Little Princess's and Princes always put a few Mommy cushions on us. =O)

Shoot for the healthy and you are already looking great!!

I'm "maintaining" I suppose. 1/2lb last week and my exercise is put on hold due to something wrong with my right hip. I suspect Bursitis or something and that exercising will be easier after I loose another 20 - but for now... I may consider swimming.

What a great family picture. You should make copies and send it to all of them!

I wish I had my "when I went up north for college for a semester" body again, but that will never happen! Never fear, though, you may not get to that particular body, but you'll keep getting better than ever!
