So Many Things

I love a lot of things about Digby, the town I work in.  It sucks that it is a half hour away from where we live but there are so many pretty parts.

Wow!

We went out to the first summer farmers market of the year today.  I was hoping that the sun and the fresh air would help me be less tired.

I was surprised to see that our cute little town was INUNDATE with visitors.  Apparently our farmers market draws most of province to our quaint shops.  I have never seen our streets so filled with people and cars.  I am still totally exhausted, but it was lovely.

Exploring

We were in Digby yesterday and I took the opportunity to explore areas I haven't seen yet.  I was excited to find a BEAUTIFUL waterfront that made me smile.  The water just warms my soul and I can't wait to spend more time there another day.

Gratitude Sunday

Gratitude Sunday

Sundays heart felt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful.

Here are some things I am grateful for this week:

Our little theater for making it possible for me to have fun nights out with my little ones.

Cute kitties who follow me around every morning.

Dress-up homeschooling

Little Prince ending his hunger strike

Cute girls in cute jammies

Fun experimenting with weighing things

Watching my boy explore his world.

Just Lovely

There is a little theater in town.  It is the same theater that had a free kids movie over Christmas, which my girls just LOVED.  Last night, they aired, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them".

Prince Charming and I decided to attend the showing and it was such a fun experience.   There are so many little things that make going to the theater here such a community event.  When we approached the door two Christmas Nutcracker Soldiers stood sentry.  They were wonderfully detailed and creatively hand-crafted.

Inside, we were personally greeted and watched as everyone chatted with each other.  The inexpensive popcorn was served in small  brown paper bags like it was in school when I was a child.   Before the movie started, they made announcements, including a young man's 17th birthday followed by drawing two tickets to get the glance to take home the movie poster!

The whole experience was lovely, friendly, and amazingly warm.  I definitely want to attend movies they air in the future!

O'Dell House

We went in to the O'Dell House Museum today.  They had lovely Christmas decorations.   I am going back tomorrow with the little girls as they will get a big k8ck out of how pretty it all is.  They even had someone playing music and having a Christmas Carol singalong.  They will love it.
