I am NOT a clean freak, really . . . I am NOT

Despite opinions to contrary I am NOT a clean freak. I can't be. My house is a disaster and I am mom to three kids and a wife to a messy, disorganized Prince Charming.

In a testament to that I can say that I absolutely did not do any of the following:

  • show off my new cleaners to my best friend
  • clean my pots and pans in the dishwasher after scrubbing them
  • proudly display my closet to my mother-in-law after organizing it
  • get a secret thrill when I got to go and get brand new cleaners for the house
  • alphabetize my 200 movies when I was single and had the time to do organize them and money to buy them
  • I am a green mommy, so of course I would never have bought disposable dish cloths because the germ laden reusable ones grossed me out
  • put my sink stoppers through the dishwasher because they were looking grungy
  • gaze lustfully at all the organization ideas in the stores. All those shelves, baskets and containers OH MY.
  • have an overflowing container filled with containers
Well . . . I guess I could say that I didn't do any of those things but unfortunately . . . my mom taught me to always tell the truth. So I won't

Is it possible I need some kind of therapy for this? Hmmm . . . yes, I need Shopping Therapy and I saw a new basket at the dollar store that I just have to have!
