Today was a good day. Princess Belle did wonderfully on her homeschooling. She zoomed through all the work I had set out for today and she was anxious to keep going. She did a full booklet I had set out to work on over the next week. It was nice to see her so enthused. She even came home from the boys and girls club this afternoon, telling me that today was the best day ever.
While she was gone for two hours, Princess Magpie and Princess Snifflefritz were napping. You would think that this sleep-deprived mommy would take that time to grab a quick nap, but noooo . . . instead I cleaned up the living and the kitchen, swept and washed the floors and made supper. I was working so hard that I was almost late picking up Princess Belle. But it felt good to look around and to see it tidy for 30 seconds before the kids messed it all up again.
Princess Snifflefritz is doing all sorts of new things every day it seems. Today, she started waving she does it backwards, but it is too cute! I heard her say, "Bye Bye" once and "Hi" once while she was doing it. (Prince Charming heard it too, so I am no imagining it, honest LOL) She says "Dad-Dad" all the time and we have all heard her say, "mom" but only when she is really upset.
Princess Magpie has been super-sweet and cuddly lately. She is really a mommy's girl these days and needs to be cuddled for a while when she wakes up and needs mommy to kiss all her booboos. She also needs to taste-test all of mommy's food as well as her own. She is just all cuteness and cuddles and if we could just knock off that pesky getting nekid obsession she has, she would be just about perfect (or at least perfect enough for our family anyway)
