DEEP DISH PIZZA QUICHE (lower fat, low carb, clean eating)


  • 4 oz softened reduced fat cream cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup canned fat free milk (or heavy cream which is lower carb but not low fat)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbs chives
  • 1/2 tsp Italian or pizza seasoning
  • 2 cups reduced fat shredded cheese 1/2 tsp wet garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar free tomato or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings to taste (onion, green pepper, mushrooms, whatever you like!)
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Beat together cream cheese and eggs till smooth (a blender would help).
  3. Add cream, parmesean cheese and spices.
  4. Spray 13x9 glass baking dish with non-stick spray.
  5. Put 2 cups of shredded cheese in dish and pour egg mixture over.
  6. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven.
  8. Spread with sauce and then add your toppings.
  9. Cover with mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake till browning and bubbly (or however you like your 'za!)
  11. Let stand for 5 minutes or so. (yummy with a salad on the side!)
options:
- try adding low fat taco seasoned ground beef
- Hormel Turkey Pepperoni is a great option to add if you want pepperoni
