Applesauce Muffins (clean eating, whole wheat and low fat)
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup honey (or sugar, or sweetener of choice)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup applesause
- 4 Tbsp margarine (or butter), melted
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Spoon mixture into muffin tins that have been sprayed with non-stick spray. (makes 12)
- Bake 15 - 20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
