Shortbread



2 cups flour
½ cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter

Combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter, should be crumbly. Press into ungreased 9x9 baking dish. Prick entire dough with fork.

Bake at 300 degrees F. for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden. Cool on rack and cut into squares.

  1. I might just have to try this version - I make my mom's whipped short bread which I LOVE, but it is for sure more time consuming... not really more work since I have a kitchenaid, but for sure more time consuming...
