- 2 12-14 oz pork tenderloins, silver skin and excess fat removed
- 2 tsp 5-spice powder, divided
- olive oil cooking spray (recipe calculated with 1 T oil)
- 2 apples
- 1 large red onion
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Line baking pan with nonstick foil. Lightly spray foil with cooking spray. Sprinkle 1 tsp 5-spice powder on pork tenderloins and place in pan. Roast pork for 20-30 minutes, or until internal temperature measures 160 degrees.
- Meanwhile, saute onion in non-stick pan sprayed with cooking spray until tender. Add 1 tsp 5-spice powder and mix. Add apple slices and saute until mixture is softened and onions are fully cooked. Be careful not to burn the onions.
- To serve, slice the pork tenderloins into 1/2 inch slices and top with apple-onion mixture.
