I just got back from the doctor's office and I got the results. I did fail the test. So now I have to wait to hear from a nutritionist (or specialist or whatever) to call me for an appointment to discuss my diet and how we are going to deal with this. If anyone has any advice or tips or ideas on what groceries to get, I would really appreciate it!
Actually, I was diabetic before pregnancy so I've had to be watched a lot closer. They consider me high-risk because of it. It is a bit harder being pregnant because the hormones block your insulins effectiveness more and more as you go. So, they have to keep upping my meds. I just hope I don't have to do shots before I'm done. And, I hope that you don't either!
