Not antique but certainly old is the picture above of my parents wedding. I have antique books but with so many moves I am not sure where they are at the moment.
I have a couple of other pics I thought I would share today as I am in a picture sharing mood.
Here is a pic of our gigantic heart shaped cookies on my terrible cookie sheet.
This is my new thermal coffee pot. I LOVE it. I can go to bed and wake up to the best coffee in the world, that is kept hot and fresh and waiting for me. Now if I could only get it to take out the garbage, I wouldn't need Prince Charming anymore! LOL.I love this pic. I know it is blurry but I love it anyway. I am not sure why. It just strikes something in me, I guess.
Here is a scrapbook page I have done yesterday. I really like the colors in it.
One thing I noticed about trying to go vegan is that I feel better after drinking soy milk. I always had issues where when I drank milk, I felt bloated and yucky and kind of nauseas. Drinking soy milk takes that feeling away.
One thing I miss is eggs. I have snuck a few in the past couple of days. I know I shouldn't but I find they fill me up with low points. I am working on low point filling meals. If you have any ideas, I would certainly appreciate them!
I made this great Vegan Italian Style soup yesterday and it was only 1 Weight Watchers Point for the whole pot! Mmmm . . . and it smells heavenly.
I also made this has hash type supper with 2/3 cup of Yves Ground Round, 2 small potatoes, cauliflour, onion, mushroom, a little zucchini and cabbage. I cooked it up really well and it was wonderful! The cauliflour actually tasted like the potatoes!
It's antique! The age qualifies it...
ReplyDeleteI *love* that coffee pot!!
That food looks DELISH!!
I love old photos. They are the best kind of keepsakes. Anything old is considered an antique.
ReplyDeleteMine's up too.
Very nice wedding photo. Now I'm hungry after looking at the food photos.
ReplyDeleteSending hubby for dinner . . .
NO, your parents are NOT antiques! LOL Yep, ya made my hungry! Mine is up too at http://beckie-photoblog.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh wow - yes you made me want some dessert! Great pics! mines up.
ReplyDeleteOne point for the whole pot? Amazing! And it sure does look good, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the great photos - I now have a craving for soup and coffee!
Judging by the style of the wedding dress and the hair, I think your parents are awfully close to my age. Have I reached "antique" stage already? Arrrrrrgh! It is a lovely picture, though. And I, too, am hungry now.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed stopping by your blog! I considered putting in a picture also---maybe I'll post old pictures another day. I love your "name" too!
ReplyDeleteThat soup really looks delicious...
ReplyDeleteJudging on the problems you have with regular milk it seems that you have a problem that is very common in scandinavia: Lactose intolerance. In this corner of the world we have everything available in low- or non-lactose mode. Milk, yoghurt, ice-cream... anything.
My parents are working on year 56 so their photo is truly antique... shhh. Don't tell them I said that.. Dad still tells her sweet courting things.
ReplyDeleteWow! I have been naughty the last 2 weeks and finally getting back on program Monday! I came to visit you and you have changed sites and layouts, looks great! How do you like blogspot compared to the others? I tried to find you on sparkpeople and didn't find you.. :-(
ReplyDeletehugs,
April
What a great picture of your folks!
ReplyDeleteI do WW too. Stagg has a veggie chilli that is 5 points for the whole can. So I split it into two meals.
And mine's up too :)
ReplyDeleteAntique enough... old pics are always cool...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all these lovely photos that mean so much to you. Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteI love family pictures! nice choice for today's theme. Off to grab something to eat, I am so hungry now and I wonder why...
ReplyDeleteHappy saturday!
loved the cartoon too, lol!
Old pictures look antique, so they qualify! I wanted to reach out and grab that soup. . . are you going to share the recipe???? or at least the basics? That soup and bread next week when our cold weather returns would be perfect. . . and apple pie.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - fit the theme perfectly. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI do think the Italian Soup is made from an Antique recipe. Yes, it is.
ReplyDeleteNice entry
