 I am feeling really good about how things are going here.  This house is going to be amazing.

 Well, we are all moved in.  It went pretty well.  The house is filled with boxes, and I have been working non-stop to get some sense of order.

For now

Today was a good day of preparing for the move.  I feel like we will be ready.  I have most things staged close to the door.  Everything seems to be on course for now. 

He Amazes Me

 My boy surprised us all by playing actual songs on his toy piano at school.

Ugh

 The moving guy was supposed to come by today.  I waited all day.  He didn't come.  I am so frustrated. 

Still

 Another day of packing, lugging boxes, organizing, with addition of many loads of laundry added in.  There are no words for the tired I feel.

My mover comes tomorrow morning to get a look at what we have.  Wish me luck. 

Saturday

 We spent today, getting boxes, packing, organizing  and cleaning.  It has been a VERY busy day.  I am totally exhausted.  I look forward to being through this move.

So close

 It occurred to me last night that we are moving in 9 days.  Aaah!  Although I have a lot done, it still gives me minor panic attacks to realize how close the move is.

Happy Kids

 My kids all come home from school extra excited.  Princess Magpie had new friends.  Little Prince had a good day and wanted new snacks.  Princess Snifflefritz and a girl in her class decided they liked each other and have spent every spare second talking on the phone.

Progress

I have been making a LOT of progress in packing for our move.  I have also been doing mountains of laundry.  I even got my daughters' rooms almost completely packed.

The kids are excited for the move.  Especially now that it is less than 2 weeks until we move.

Showings

 Well, I spent most of the day with my kids and doing laundry.  I was supposed to show our place again, but they didn't show up.  We have two showings tomorrow.  I hope we are done this soon.

Cuteness

Sorry that I have been a little absent lately but packing up a house takes me more time these days.

Progress

 It is hard to be functionally literate when I am SO tired. But, I am feeling good about the progress I am making.  We have even been in regular contact with the school the kids will attend. So far, this is line to be our best move yet.  I will just sleep for three weeks after we get there.

Happy

 Another productive day.  I got groceries, did laundry, cleaned and packed, did errands for the move and generally kept busy getting on top of things.  I am feeling good about things.

Productive

 We took another load of things up to the storage unit today.  It was a lot of work but it was really good to get it done.

We have one more load to go and then we are done with that for now.

I also cleaned up for the two separate sets of people who came to see our place. 

We talked to some other people for our move including the kids' new school.  

So, it was a busy but productive day.  

Sunday Stuff

 I am getting lots done.  Today, I took down all our Christmas stuff and moved a lot of stuff around so that we can have a landing zone for packed boxes and still have a place to live and use.  

I did discover that our microwave burned the plug and can't be used anymore.  So, we will be without one until sometime after our move when we can afford it.  We don't use it that much, so that should be okay. 

Tomorrow the kids go back to school for their last few weeks before our move.  So that is exciting for them.

Good

I got a lot done today. I shoveled, packed, cleaned and baked.  I did only get 2 1/2 hours of sleep, so I am feeling much like a zombie.  So, I am proud to have accomplished anything at all.

I had a fun but busy day.  I made for our lack of finances for New Years fun by baking and cooking up a storm.  My family was happy and that's all I need.  Now the baking and shovelling have me quite ready for bed.
