Happy Halloween

 

Halloween at School

 My little bits loved going to school at Halloween and I was lucky enough that teachers sent me some pictures of my two youngest babies.  So cute!!  And, I took some of my junior high, Hermione.

Good

We did a bunch of running around today.  But, we got a lot of stuff done too. It feels good to be on top of things. Even when I am tired. 

Oh Brother

 Holy cow, last night I got even less sleep.  I only got 2 1/2 hours!!!  I need to get this nonsense under control. 

Experiment

 I seem to doing a science experiment in how little sleep I can function with.  This week has been 5 hours, 4 1/2 hours, and now 2 1/2 hours.  Ghis is not a fun experiment. 

Five

 I had another day with only 5 hours sleep.  I did  function well enough. Everyone is fed and looked after, the kitchen was tidied, all the basics were done.  The day feels very long though.

Sunday.

 We had a lovely day today.  Grandma Great stopped by for a visit.  It was so nice to see her.  Little Prince even came out to sit beside her.  It was really sweet.

Quiet.

 We had a lovely quiet day at home today.  The best part is that I get to have as much sleep as I want today.  Prince Charming doesn't work tonight, the kids don't have school tomorrow. Yay sleep!

The first time

 For the first time, we have a fun outside decoration.  We got two inexpensive ones and put them up while the kids were at school.  They were so cute when they came home.  I could hear Princess Snifflefritz from in the house.

I have always wanted to have decorations like those.  I would love it if I could swing one or two for Christmas too! 

Yawn

I have been getting only 5 hours of sleep for the last few days.  I am really finding it tough today.  I have a headache and am so tired.  I am so looking forward to Prince Charming's next day off, so I can get a full night's sleep. 

Always an Adventure

 It is always an adventure when the kids come home from school.  You never know what's going to happen. 

Today I found out that Little Prince actually ate his lunch!  Which was a first and incredible. 

I also found out that Princess Snifflefritz made up with her friend because he  apologized to someone he was mean to. 

I also had to pick up Princess Magpie when she missed her bus because she was fighting with her locker.  She panicked and didn't know what to do, but felt better when I told her that I will always be here for her.  

Great

 We had a great day today.  The rooms got cleaned, the laundry got done, homework was done, and time was spent with my babies.  Now, I am exhausted, but happy with our day.

Brighter

 I am having a much better day today.  Things are looking much brighter today than it did yesterday.  I am relaxing at the moment while watching Halloween type movies and shows.

Yuck!!!

 I have very high anxiety tonight.  Just when I thought I had our finances under control, we are having van troubles!  I have already spent $600 to fix a problem that hasn't gone away.  Agghh!!

Silly boy

Yesterday, Little Prince woke up in a mood.  He was tired, grouchy, and uncooperative.  I was worried about his prospects for a happy day at school.  To distract him, I let him see himself singing on my phone.  But, he surprised me and had a wonderful day.  

Today, he came from school with a bag of the clothes he wore to school.  They were soaking wet because he chose to swim in the puddles . . . AGAIN.  Silly boy.

Sometimes

 Talking to some people can be hard for me. For some reason, some people bring out my anxiety. It is hard to explain but, the more they unload their problems on me, the more anxiety I feel. Sometimes, I am left feeling anxiety for the whole rest of the day.

Decorations

 I let the kids have a free hand on putting up our Halloween decorations. They had so much fun, chatting, giggling, debating, and decorating.  It was sweet and my house looks great.

Thanksgiving

 Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.  I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Blessed

 I was gifted a brand new beautiful coat by a kind soul who knew I needed one.  I am feeling so blessed. 

Really?!?

 I cannot believe that we got snow today!!!  This is way to early!  I am not ready for snowy weather. 

Great Job

 Little Prince came with a commendation from school today.  He participated in music class.  He walked around the group saying his little chant and picked out a new kid and sat down!  This is a HUGE amount of interaction and instruction following.  I am so proud of him.  I am really glad his worker this year takes such joy in his accomplishments.  She is always quick to tell me about the new things he does.  

A Friend!

 My boy has a friend at school!  This is his first friend.  I am so happy for him.  He is really thriving in a school environment and I am so proud of him. 

Grace

I have to give myself the grace to do less on the days that I only get 5-6 hours sleep.  On days when I am dragging my behind around, feeling exhausted, it is enough to do enough.  If my house is presentable, everyone is fed, clothed and healthy, then I can save the larger projects for days when I have gotten more sleep.

Not Enough

This is one of those days when 5 1/2 hours is not nearly enough.  I am so very tired.

Finally

I finally dropped off almost all of my donations.  I just have 3 bags left!! 

We also put up our fall decorations.  I add our Jack-o-lanterns to my collection of pumpkins.  I love the way decorations change the feel of our place and the orange lights make me so happy. 

We will put up the rest of our Halloween decorations after Thanksgiving next week.

Weekend

I am ENJOYING a quiet weekend where I can get as much sleep as I want.  (Which incidentally seems to be 8 1/2 hours exactly LOL.)

We dug out the Fall and Halloween decorations.  So, this weekend I think we will start to put them up.  The little girls love to help with that.

Better

All my littles went back to school today.  They seem to be feeling so much better. 

While they were at school, I cleaned and organized Little Prince's room. It looks MUCH better.
