Tough

I am stressed.   Not crazy stressed, but stressed.  By Nov 5, we will have spent $750 on oil and w our tank won't even be full.  I am dipping into our tiny little moving fund to pay for it and Christmas and 2 birthdays are coming up.  How am I going to get through this w8 term with any money left to move to a better home for my family.  Sigh, this being grown up thing is tough.

Soon

As the weather gets colder, I wish we could hurry up and find a better place to live.  I don't look forward to spending all this money on oil.  It cost us $600-$800 a month last year
  Ugh!! Here's hoping we can fix our situation soon.

New

I did manage to get out of the house today.  I picked up a new bed for Little Prince.  It was a Cars bed.  We put it in his room before he went to bed.  He was SO excited.  He sat immediately on it, and looked at me and said, "Bye!"  It was like he was saying, "This is mine, you can leave now." So sweet.

Yuck

Not a really exciting day here.  We are all still sick and just counting down the minutes until we are all more mobile again.

Noo!

I woke up this morning miserable with a cold/flu.  I have asthma issues and whenever I get a cold, it kicks my butt bad and never wants to go away!  I usually end up with an infection.  I just want to breath!

Ick

I am sick with the cold too.  I have bad lungs and it SUCKS when I get sick.  BLAH!!!

Beautiful.

We had a good day enjoying the fall weather.  We took a little trip into town and got some great deals at the shop.  And I had to take a few pics of the view.

Fall

It is cold and dreary outside and half our family has a cold, but at least we have a nice warm house and yummy food.  I definitely love looking out the window at the fall colors.  Something about the beautiful fall foliage speaks to me.

Proud

We took our last trip of the year to Yarmouth today.  I love it there.  It is such a pretty, friendly,  warm, and convenient little town.  I was proud to be able to stick my diet while eating and I was able to do our Halloween shopping while sticking to our budget.  Yay me!! And my kids are going to be adorable!

Crazy

What a crazy weather day!  It is snowing!! At least the furnace guy came today to make sure we can get warm! We were all very grateful.  I
The snow makes me think of Christmas.  And when Little Prince saw the snow he sat watching it through the window whispering, "Christmas!"

Good

We are having a family movie night tonight.  I love nights like this with cuddly jammies, popcorn, movies and sweet kids.  Times like this I am reminded that life is good.

Blessed

Today was a fun day filled with carrot muffins, pumpkin loaf, nacho fries and Halloween decorations.  And as I sit here getting ready to go to bed listening to my girls giggling together, I feel really blessed.

Idea

I have been doing something fun for the kids and they love it.  Even Prince Charming loves it.  Every day I place citrus and cucumber in our water jug and fill it with water.  And after 24 hours I dehydrate the fruit for Christmas decorations.

This Time

It is definitely fall out there.  I LOVE fall here in the valley.  The colors are wonderful.  The hills are covered in a beautiful quilt of orange, red, and yellows.  The pumpkins and decorations just make me happy.  I slow as I drive into town so that I can really soak up the beauty around me.  I love warm sweaters, hot coffee, and cool air.  It really is my favorite time of year.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends and family.  I have so much to be thankful for and I hope that you feel as blessed as I do.

Mommy Shark

There is a song on YouTube called "Baby Shark".  Little Prince loves it.  So when I came across a shark sleeper when I was shopping, I had to buy it.

He was thrilled.  He laughed and kept singing "Mommy Shark!"  Very sweet.

Favorites

One of my favorite stores in Yarmouth has a habit of having the wrong signs on their fruits and veggies.  I love this store and I get a kick out of noticing them.  I was in Yarmouth yesterday and I saw these signs:

Date night

I had a fun day today with Prince Charming.  We had a date night.  It will probably be our last one of the year and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Good Way

Is there anything better than a dance party in the living room with my kids followed by doing a little something for myself? What a good way to end my day.
