This is New

Last night at work a guy young enough to be my son, tried very hard to get my number.  It was very funny and flattering.  I pretended just joking.

Pain

The last few days I am having a LOT of pain in my hips, knees and back.  I don't know why, but it is making me feel old and tired.  I go to bed in pain and wake up with a headache every day.  On top of that, I feel like I am getting even less stuff done around the house.  Ugh, I suck.

Finally

The plumber finally came.  After waiting for weeks, he came!!  The girls were fascinated.  They pulled up chairs, got snacks and watched the plumber at work. It was so cute.

Toll

I am so not the young person I used to be when I worked before.  I am finding it so hard on my joints.  My knees and my hips hurt so bad.  Never mind the emotional toll this job is taking on me, physically it is killing me too.

Wonderful

We had a great day as a family today.

First, we took the kids to "the fun place."  It was a HUGE hit and the girls were thrilled.

Princess Belle had her hair cut.

Afterwards, we took the kids to the zoo.  It was a wonderful time.

Little Prince yelled, zebra when he saw some.

He was thrilled with the little ponies.  It was cute to hear his happy sounds and giggles.

Princess Snifflefritz loved all the animals that they could touch.

We all had a great time.

This

This, just this.  I miss quiet moments around the house with the kids.  I miss catching them in the still moments, reflecting, reading, or concentrating.   I miss not having to be on the run all the time.  I miss quiet, I miss this.

For Now

I work today and then I have one day off tomorrow.  I want to do something fun with my whole family to celebrate the beginning of our homeschool year.

For today, I have work, cooking, shopping, and cleaning to do.

Another one

Another day with my family.  We cleaned a little, spent time making a fun supper with the girls, did a little baking with them, and then had a cup of chai tea and watched a sappy movie.  I really do miss days like this.  I love my babies cherish every second I get with them.
