I am an idiot.

I am an idiot.  I have been trying to get my hair cut for months.  I finally managed to get an appointment for Princess Belle on her birthday and one for me today.  And I MESSED it up!!!  I wrote both appointments in my calendar for the same time!  So today I went in to finally get my hair cut (after months of waiting).  And I had MISSED MY APPOINTMENT!!!  I made another one but I am so disappointed. Blah!! I am an idiot!!

Windows

Little Prince loves windows.  He spends so much looking out the windows and watching the world go by.  I, for my part, love the way the windows light his face.

100 Years!!

I had a wonderful time at the celebrations of the Anniversary of 100 years of Fort Anne being a national park.  The whole event was so filled with fun and a reverence for the past.  I loved all the outfits!!!

So Fun!

What a fun day this was!  It started with an early trip to the coffee shop and the Farmers market with my newly fifteen years old daughter.  Then we came home and had popcorn and a movie with the little ones.

After the movie the little girls and I did crafts for Chinese New Year.

We decorated the dining room for our Chinese dinner and then Princess Belle and Prince Charming watched a big people movie after the little ones went to bed.

Fifteen

My first baby turned fifteen years old today.  It is so hard to believe.  I love the person she has grown into and I love spending time with her.

At Least He Likes It!

I love how much Little Prince likes his bedroom. It is cute to see him trotting up the stairs to read a book on his bed as HD looks at me and says,"Bye Bye!" In his own way, dismissing me so that he can read in peace. Too cute!!

Little Things

I spent a lot of the day puttering around and going through the few things that hadn't been unpacked yet.  I found my tea set and actually had the perfect place to display it.

I took the things that had been on that shelf and moved them.

I dug around in the basement and found the perfect cupboard to add to our pantry.  I LOVE it!  It adds so much space and let's me make it so much more organized.

So it was a day of puttering around but I feel like the little things made all the difference.

That's Kind of Sad

I had a conversation with the little girls today and I was saddened to realize that they don't know what my family even looks like.  How sad is it that my kids don't get to know their grandparents and Aunt and Uncle from my side of our family.  

I went searching and found pictures to show them.  It took a while and I to look through my Aunt's Facebook page.  But I was able to show them my family as well as some of my Aunts and Uncles.

They asked why they don't know them and I simply said that we just don't get to see them that much but it was okay because we have lots of people that we love that we do get to see.  I didn't want to have anything bad to say.  The girls don't need to jnow that they don't approve of of my life choices.  girls don't need that kind of negativity.  They j7st need to know that I will ALWAYS love and support them and that they are surrounded by love.

Gratitude Sunday

Arranging

One way I deep cleaning is by rearranging things.  Today, I was feeling tired because Little Prince got me quite a few times last night.  And so being tired, I was bugged by the mess.  So, I rearranged the living room and dining room (I switched them).
