One of the things that Princess Belle as an Autistic child does is mix up made up stories, stories from television and things that happened to her. She can't always tell the difference. But today, she was about to tell me a story and she started with, "This one time . . . *pause* . . . Oh that didn't happen to me, that was on Wizards of Waverly Place" and she moved on. She caught herself and corrected it. That was pretty big for her. I am proud of her for that.
We had a great day of schooling today. She had fun learning about Easter and doing math using Easter Eggs. She has been enjoying the work we have been doing this week. #Autism

Princess Architecture
Princess Belle has started a very creative new habit. She is building gigantic towers with a combination of hard cover and soft cover books. Then she puts dolly inhabitants into the rooms. She gets them higher and higher. Princess Magpie gets a huge kick out of them, walking around giggling and saying, "Wow!"

Planning my week
I have been busy the last couple of days. I have been preparing a full week of lesson plans that are Easter Themed. It has been fun. I have Easter themed math, Easter themed science, everything. I am looking forward to this week of fun with Princess Belle.
I have had so much fun planning this that I decided to do more of these. My thoughts are that we cover Math, writing and reading first thing in the morning and then after that we do various themes for a week. Next week will be Spring and after that I am thinking of doing one on Newfoundland. I have a lot of ideas. I love research so finding the things to do this is fun for me and it makes it fun for Princess Belle too.
If you have any ideas for themes, I would love to hear them.

Conversations with Princess Belle
Prince Charming: What is that on your arm? (looking at something that looks suspiciously like a hickey)
Princess Belle: Well, I was hungry and I didn't like supper, so I was chewing on my arm.
Oh well obviously. Hmmm . . . if I have driven my child to munching on her appendages, does it mean I should rethink my menus?

Friday Five
- Princess Belle loves to build forts out of blankets. She has great fun building them and then inviting her sister into them too. They play, have picnics, and watch the house from there. It is very cute.
- Princess Belle loves to do dance or exercise videos for her gym classes. And it is too cute when Princess Magpie joins in the fun.
- Princess Magpie has fun playing with a teddy Princess Belle has had since she was about this age too. I caught her on camera as she was pretending to blow raspberry's on the teddy's belly.
- I think I am slightly obsessed with pics of sleeping babies. I just can't help myself. I keep taking pics of sleeping Princess Snifflefritz whenever I can.
- I can't wait to go to my first homeschool conventions in Gander in May. It is so exciting to know that I am going to meet other homeschoolers!!

Thursday Thirteen #88
It was a nice day the other day and we decided it was a good idea to get everyone out of hte house. I was inspired by this to decide that Princess Belle and I are going to be working on a Nature Notebook as part of our homeschooling. She was really excited by the idea. We also decided that we will be going on a picnic here in the near future. So here are thirteen pictures of our first walk of Spring:
