Theme: Dirty Become a Photo Hunter

The theme this week is Dirty and I immediately thought of how happy Princess is when she is playing with her dollies and changing their "dirty" diapers as well of how "dirty" she gets when she eats fudgsicles.

Another Day Another Dollar

I made it through another day at work. It wasn't as bad as yesterday. I think everyone at work felt better today. I am exhausted though. These early mornings are too much too handle! How can anyone else do this? Either way, I hope that I do well at my job so that I can get one of those early promotions that seem to be going around. I would like to move up in this company and if I can stick it out for long enough, I know I can have one.

This weeks theme was difficult for me, it required some creative thinking. This first one was done two years ago. I figure it is about PERSUADING Princess to get up out of bed. The second one is about PERSUADING Princess to sit and pose for a picture.

Thirteen things About Twisted Cinderella This Week My first day out training was really stressful, I hope it gets better. Two people left work today. I miss my friend Heather. I am completely exhausted from these 5:30 am rises are killing. I only have four more days of 5:30 rises!!! yay then I get up at 7! I am feeling really good about being vegetarian again. I love this vegetarian ww core breakfast! I can't believe that Princess is going to be finishing up at daycare this week. I love my neighbourhood and my freinds here. I am thrilled to have Monday off work! I am thrilled to be getting busses to work as of next Thursday instead of walking every day. I hope to get my car on the road next month. I haven't driven a car in more than 5 years. I am soooo tired, I can't think properly. Luv ya guys! Have a great Thursday. Links to other Thursday Thirteens! Neighbourhood improvements -- Wordless Wednesday

Yay!!

I am so glad work is going so well. I had two assessments today and I got 100% on the one I could get a grade on and a pass on the pass/fail on-line assessment. I did a minimal skills test and passed that too. The instructor even got me to coach others who were having difficulties. It felt good to be needed. I was really happy with how today went.

I start on my actual job tomorrow half-days with the other half day to come back and de-brief. I am kind of excited abou that.

My friend who sits next to me finished her last day today. I will be sad to see her go. She was a lot of fun to sit and laugh with every day. I wish her luck as she continues her eductation.

Well that was a busy evening

Work went well today. I am almost done in training. One more days and then I get to get out there. I had an assessment today and I have 2 more assessments and a minimal skills test tomorrow.

I came from work at 4:00 pm and my washer was finally delivered! I was thrilled! I proceeded to get right to work, I put on rice and chicken for Prince Charming, Curry Vegetables for me and I put on laundry all by 5:30 and by 6:15 I was already up to 3 loads of laundry! I may just keep doing laundry all evening. My plan is to wash, dry and fold them all and then put them away afterwards. I am so happy not to be washing clothes by hand anymore.

The rest of my evening should consist of bathing Princess, doing laundry, and relaxing with Prince Charming.

Menu Plan Monday

Here is the Menu plan for my family so far as I know today:

1. Sunday: Pork roast with fries
2. Monday: Chicken and Rice
3. Tuesday: Goulash
4. Wednesday: Crock Pot Beef Stew
5. Thursday: Slow cooker Pork with Rice
6. Friday: Slow cooked BBQ Beef with Fries
7. Saturday: Mexican Style Pasta

These are the meals for my family this week. I am going to put my menu plan for me on my other blog.

Headache

I am a little quiet today. I have the worst headache. I have the kind of headache that get so bad, I am vomitting. TMI, I know sorry. I am just going to crawl in a dark quiet hole with my bottle of ibuprofen and wait for it to pass.

The theme this week is Happy and I immediately thought of how happy I get when I see Princess and her daddy together. They are so happy together and they love each other so much.

Another good one is how happy Princess is when I take her to the park.

Scary Stuff!

My child will be the death of me yet, I swear! Let me tell a little story about the events at my house this morning.

It started off pretty quiet, I went off to work at 6:00. Notsosnowwhite left for home at 7:00. Princess woke up around 8:00 and she was sad that Notsosnowwhite went home and told her daddy that she had a bad belly and he kept her home. Now, daddy went back to bed to lie down around 9:00 and she settled down in the living room to cuddle on the couch and watch Treehouse.

Fast forward to about 10:00 am. Daddy hears a knock on the door. He trots down the stairs and there is our neighbour at the door. And she is holding on to something very important to us . . . . . MY DAUGHTER in her nightdress and bare feet!!!!! Apparently, she decided to go for a walk and my neighbour found her wandering around a couple of doors down the street in her nightdress. My neighbour knew that we don't let her outside by herself and brought her home. On one hand, I am so glad that my neighbours know us, know our daughter, and brought her home. We are sooo lucky to know the people around us! Soo Scary!!

She had a busy morning. When Daddy brought her back inside, he discovered a plate with a few freezie wrappers on it. How many freezies did she help herself to you ask? (or maybe you didn't but I am going to tell you anyway!) Not one freezie wrapper, not two freezie wrappers, not three freezie wrappers, but ELEVEN FREEZIE wrappers!!! My girl got up ate 11 freezies, mixed oatmeal with water and spilled it all over the coffee table and then went for a walk outside!!!! OMG, that girl needs to come equipped with a seatbelt!

Thirteen Things

Thirteen things About Twisted Cinderella This Week I am really excited to be getting healthy again. Tomorrow after work, I am going grocery shopping and I am getting the stuff I need to eat vegetarian Weight Watchers Core There are several people at work who are being healthy and it really motivates me. Notsosnowhite will be getting home at about 1pm today. Princess will be heartbroken and will miss her terribly. So will Prince Charming as he will have to get up to see Princess off in the mornings after I leave for work now. So will I. I am loving watching Big Brother this year. It is so much fun for me. I am addicted to checking out Jokers Updates to see what is happening on the live feeds. I am going to join the gym next to where I work next week. I am really excited about all the changes they have made at work. They have really reduced the stress load at work. My instructor put me in charge today of explaining the assignment and of putting people in groups. I am really anxious to get out of training now. Links to other Thursday Thirteens! Yay me!

I had my second assessment at work today and I got %100 again! That is the same thing I got on my first one! I am so proud of myself. I feel really good about how this is going!

I have two more weeks of getting up at the crack of god-awful and walking to work. I don't know how much longer I could take getting up at 5:30 that is for the birds!! But soon, I won't have to get up until 7:30 when I see Princess off to Daycare and then I have time to clean and make supper before leaving for work. Aaaahh that will be nice!

Menu Plan Monday

Here is my Menu plan so far as I know today:

1. Sunday: Meatloaf and fries
2. Monday: Chicken and Rice
3. Tuesday: spaghetti and meat sauce
4. Wednesday: Beef Stew
5. Thursday: Mexican Macaroni and cheese
6. Friday: Slow cooker Beef with Rice
7. Saturday: Terriyaki Ground Beef and Rice

These are all simple meals this week. I am really happy this is my last week on this shift. Hopefully I will do better when I have a little more time starting on Wednesday of next week.

Accomplishment

I got up this morning and headed straight into cleaning. Notsosnowwhite got up and started right out helping. Right now the only room in the house that needs to be attacked is Princess's room. Well that and Mount Laundry, but I am expecting to get my washer today so that I can get at that chore too. I am so glad!! I wish they would hurry up and get here with it!! So now, I look around and my house looks good and I feel a sense of accomplishment. That and gratitude that Notsosnowwhite was here to help me!

Editors Note: Apparently the man who was going to bring my washer checked it out and it is BROKEN!!! So he is not bringing it today!!! Now I have to go wash some clothes by hand. I am SOOO not happy!!!

Poor Princess

My poor baby is still thinking about the miscarriage in June. Apparently, when my best friend came to town, one of the first things she did was tell her that, "The baby in mommy's belly died. I miss her. Do you miss her?" My best friend said that she knew and that she did miss the baby. But it makes me sad that Daniella is still so clearly on her mind, even though Princess never mentions her to me.

Finally Fun time

The weekend is finally here! I am so happy that I get to spend some time at home. How do working moms set their priorities? How do you balance your desire to just sit and cuddle your little girl on the couch with your desire to get all the stuff done that you didn't get done all week?

And while we are at it, how do you keep your house clean all week? I was lucky this week, my best friend was here and she helped me out. But she is leaving and then I have to do it myself. How do you do that? As a mom you have a long list of to-do's: laundry, cooking, dishes, floors, changing sheets, cleaning Princess's always a disaster room. How do I add work into that mix? Anyone got any ideas?

Princess was so sweet Thursday, she as sitting on the couch looking at me and she said, "Mommy when I grow up, I want to marry you." And when I asked her about her daddy she thought for a moment and then said, "Well, I can marry you, you can marry daddy and Aunt Lori can marry you." I smiled and said that sounded like a wonderful idea. I would be sure to get lots of cuddles that way.

Theme: Two Become a Photo Hunter

The theme this week is Two and immediately thought of Princess's fun at the beach. She had so much fun and got to play with her little friends!

Countdown to the weekend!

It is almost the weekend and I am thrilled. I am soooo tired of getting up at 5:30 in the morning and walking to work. I will be glad when we finish these early mornings in a week or two. It will feel like a little bit of heaven to get up at 8 and send my girl off to daycare and then get ready for work for 11.

One of the girls I like at work will be leaving and moving to Halifax after training. I will miss her. We get along well and we chat together when we have a few minutes. I wish her the best as she goes back to school to get her degree. I will just miss her that's all.

I like my job. I think I will be good at it. I would like to be an instructor there one day. I think I would be good at it. I am not stressed about getting at it at all.

My friend has to have surgery and I know she is worried about it. I want only to be there for her, to support her and to let her know that I will be there to help her through her recovery. I wish I could ease her mind and take her worries away. I wish I could help her believe that it is better to have it now while she is still relatively strong than to have it later when her hip is completely destroyed and she is already layed up before even having the surgery.
